据悉，尽管阵中已有门迪和弗兰-加西亚两名左后卫，但皇马开始考察新的左后卫人选，并且不排除引入更多新援，尤其是在中场甚至进攻端。新帅哈维-阿隆索在此次阵容重建中拥有一定话语权。
如果皇马最终在左后卫位置进行补强，弗兰-加西亚或门迪可能成为离队人选，不过，目前没有迹象表明两人有离队意愿。
