数据统计显示，这是马竞队史第33次打进国王杯半决赛，此前32次有19次晋级、13次被淘汰。他们在新世纪已经8次晋级国王杯半决赛，追平皇马。同期仅次于塞维利亚（9次）、毕尔巴鄂（10次）、巴萨（15次）。
而这也是西蒙尼时代第5次打进国王杯半决赛，此前4次分别是2013、2014、2017和2024年。
值得一提的是，西蒙尼时代的马竞共计已经10次打进各项赛事半决赛，还有3次在欧冠（2014、2016、2017）以及2次在欧联杯（2012、2018）。
